An initial structural model is required to perform local structural analysis using PDF analysis. For crystalline materials, it is common to use the average structure as the initial structural model. The average structure was obtained by high-energy X-ray diffraction experiments and can be obtained by performing Rietveld analysis using the same powder X-ray diffraction patterns.In Japan, Professor Fujio Izumi's RIETAN-FP is the most famous.RIETAN-FP is Prof. Izumi's distribution site You can download it with, but you can't use it alone.Depending on your environment (Windows10 or maxOS), you need to install the following software (paid).

Be sure to install the 64bit version. If the Hidemaru editor is not installed in the correct folder, RIETAN-FP will not be installed correctly either.Installed by RIETAN-FP Dengaku is only compatible with the 64-bit version of Hidemaru.

If you want to start Jedit Ω from the command line, it is a good idea to write the following in .zshrc.

alias omega='open -a "Jedit Ω" '

Now, just type "omega" from the command line to start Jedit Ω.

Common to Windows10, macOS

Neither Hidemaru editor nor Jedit Ω can use full functions unless you pay a fee and activate the license. Please install the RIETAN-FP main unit after license authentication.
